Frequently asked questions

How do I qualify for a therapy grant?
Any Kenyan child (0-18 years) with a neurological condition (spina bifida, hydrocephalus, cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy) can apply. We prioritize low-income households. Submit the request form and our team will reach out within 3 days.
Do you offer support outside Nairobi?
Yes! We work in 17+ counties through mobile clinics, tele-therapy, and local partners. Reach us via WhatsApp to connect with a coordinator near you.
Can I donate equipment or volunteer?
Absolutely. We accept gently used mobility aids, and we have volunteer roles for therapists, admin, and outreach. Email volunteer@nekiwa.org or click "Volunteer" in the footer.
How fast can I get support?
Emergency requests: 24-48h response. Therapy grants: within 5-7 working days after assessment. Our support team prioritizes urgent cases.
